Henrik Jerner
Henrik jerner, CEO

Nearly 20 years of experience in direct investments in companies, primarily those in startup and growth phases, including 13 years at the Sixth AP Fund. Henrik has experience in sourcing, corporate governance, board work, financing processes, and has worked closely with company management teams. Henrik also has a background in Treasury operations, financial management, and project management, both nationally and internationally. Board experience includes Apotea, among others. Henrik holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Born in 1968. Started at CapSek in 2020.

Göran Carlson, Investment Manager

Göran represents CapSek in Sweden’s northern growth cluster, based in Piteå. Göran has successfully run the angel investment company Carlson Invest for over 20 years, with investments in Sweden, Hong Kong, Spain, the Czech Republic, and the USA, primarily in tech. In recent years, he has combined this work with roles at the northern incubator Arctic Business and the European Space Agency’s space incubator. Born in 1971. Started at CapSek in 2023.

Robin Komulainen
Robin Komulainen, CFO

Robin has 10 years of experience in accounting and valuation across various industries and has run an accounting firm in recent years. He has previously held consulting assignments as CFO at various companies and served as in-house CFO at AIFM Group. He is an authorized accounting consultant. Robin is a board member of Slottsallén Holding AB and RK Förvaltning AB and holds additional assignments as a deputy. He holds a degree in business administration from Linnaeus University in Växjö. Started at CapSek in 2019.

Anders Lundkvist
Anders Lundkvist, chairman of the Board

Anders has a broad background, ranging from research to entrepreneurship, board work, and politics. His experience includes serving as CEO and co-owner of the IT company Arctic Group. Anders also has experience in European research within IT and telecommunications, as the director of the Center for Distance-Spanning Technology (CDT) at Luleå University of Technology. He was also a municipal councilor in Piteå for five years. Anders holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and is based in Piteå. Born in 1957. Chairman since 2025 (member since 2023).

Peter Wendel
PETER WENDEL, MEMBER OF THE BOARD AND SENIOR ADVISOR

Peter has extensive experience in entrepreneurship within software development and other areas of the tech industry. Peter has over 30 years of experience in developing companies in roles such as innovator, entrepreneur, employed CEO, and founder. Additionally, Peter Wendel has coached and advised a large number of companies both in the early development stage and during the scale-up phase. Member of the board since 2025 (Peter was the chairman of CapSek from 2019 to March 2021, serving as working chairman from 2020 to March 2021.)

Marcus Friman
Marcus Friman, member of the Board

Markus has a strong international background, both from his work with Netrounds, Juniper Networks and as a representative in European standardization organizations (ETSI) during his time at TeliaSonera. At Netrounds, he was one of the founders, where he held leading roles in sales, marketing, product management and software development for many years. As a business angel and strategic advisor, he helps startups find their positioning, scale up and focus correctly. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Remos Space Systems AB. Markus has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology. Born 1974. Board member since 2025.

Lennart Bergström
Lennart bergström, deputy member of the Board

Lennart has extensive experience in the business world, including as a CFO. Lennart was involved in growing Boule Diagnostics, which was later listed on the stock exchange. He co-founded Carmel Pharma AB, which was acquired by Becton Dickinson Inc., where Carmel Pharma had 200 employees and a turnover of SEK 400 million at the time of the acquisition. He is now involved in real estate projects and invests in entrepreneur-led companies. Lennart has an economics degree from Lund University. Born in 1947. Deputy board member since 2025 (Board member since 2019. )
